Morgan Schmidt, a Physical Therapist originally from New Orleans, pursued her passion for hands-on science at Elon University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Graduating with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from LSUHSC Shreveport in 2022, Morgan is a Dry Needling Certified professional with a keen interest in balance and functional strengthening. Experienced in Acute Care Physical Therapy, she underwent ACL surgery, rekindling her dedication to the field. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2019, Morgan envisions integrating Service Animals into future treatments, inspired by her two labs from the United States Veteran Service Dogs Organization. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance, family, two dogs, and two cats, as well as cooking, going to the dog park, and exploring the New Orleans food scene.
