Elise Hood

Dr. Elise practices orthopedic physical therapy and specializes in pelvic and vestibular health. She received her doctorate from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2022. She was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award for graduating at the top of her program.
Elise received postdoctoral training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, allowing her to address complex issues related to pelvic health, including pelvic pain, incontinence, and postmenopausal difficulties, along with peri and post-partum recovery, to name a few. She is also highly trained in treating vestibular disorders, helping patients manage dizziness, balance problems, and vertigo through personalized rehabilitation programs.
Elise is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her patients through compassionate care and evidence-based practices. She works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. Her holistic approach not only focuses on alleviating symptoms but also on empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to maintain their health and well-being long-term.
